    Abstract:

    · In recent years, our country has formulated a series of national science and technology development plans, including a new generation of artificial intelligence development plan, robot industry development plan and manufacturing 2025 in China.Machine vision, as an important branch of artificial intelligence, is the key and indispensable technology to realize the three strategic plans mentioned above.

    · This report will focus on some of the research ideas and results of the reporter in the field of visual intelligence, based on his many years of experience.

    · Visual Intelligence is a cross-disciplinary field that spans computer science, engineering, physics, biology, psychology and cognitive science.The report will cover models, engineering implementations, and specific applications of visual intelligence.

    · Briefly introducing the work in optical communication, storage and calculation.

     

    Brief introduction of the reporter:

    PhD from Tsinghua University and postdoctor from University of California, Santa Barbara, is currently the Executive Vice-Director of Jihua Laboratory Intelligent Robot Engineering Research Center.He was the executive vice president of Ningbo Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry, specially appointed expert of Zhejiang Province, and expert member of Zhejiang Committee of Intelligent Manufacturing Experts.

    Key research and development directions: artificial intelligence, machine vision, photoelectric technology.More than 20 years of high-tech R&D and management experience in the United States. He has served as Chief Researcher, Chief Scientist, Vice President, etc.Rudolf Kingslake Award winner of the International Society of Optical Engineering.
